The first week back is always a busy one and this Term has been no exception. It started with a jam packed assembly with lots of Mathletic awards for students who were diligently keeping up with the Maths during the Term 3 School Holidays. I also interviewed the four students Darcy, Fran, Trinity & Jacob who travelled to China and asked what their highlights were. It was nice to hear the varied responses from visiting Revolving Restaurants to speaking at Assembly at our Sister School in Changshu. The week finished off nicely with Basketball and Volleyball competitions. Bairnsdale Primary School visited PPS on Friday for Boys and Girls basketball games. A great standard of competition was held and everyone gave their best. 7 Grade 5/6 Girls travelled to Bairnsdale West PS for the Volleyball competition. They tried their best and improved with each game. Congratulations to all students for a fantastic Week 1.
This week I will be heading off on camp with the Grade 5/6 students to Wilson's Promontory. We are looking at 3 nights and days of hiking, nature talks and exploration. It is a really beautiful corner of the world and I am looking forward to the challenges that we will face.
